This limited-production gin is a labor of love from the lab of master distiller Benay Shannon. Starting with her award-winning Builders Botanical Gin, she rests it in uniquely seasoned barrels of her own American Malt whiskey and Blueberry Pomegranate Cider. The results are undeniable – purely crafted Character. And in the Heartland: Character Runs Deep.
Tasting Notes
Builders Gin rested for one month in seasoned barrels. The unique barrels are
seasoned specifically for gin first with aged malt whiskey, followed by blueberry-pomegranate cider.
NOSE
Less floral than standard Builders, more woodsy notes (juniper & rosemary forward)
PALATE
Fruitier and more rounded
FINISH
Subtle barrel notes accompanied by anise and spice (grains of paradise, coriander)
